Modern society has a huge tendency to consume without necessity, especially in the USA. People spend and purchase things at the frenetic rhythm.
Nowadays, teenagers are demanding consumers, they don’t want cheap products, but usually prefer what is more expensive, because these products make them feel better and believe that with expensive things, they can integrate in certain groups and be accept.
The consumerism is very good for mundial economic, but brings serious consequences to the society and to our planet. The consumerism in the society influences people to spend more that they should with the excessive acquisition of unnecessary products.
Our planet will also suffer serious consequences because the level of trash will also increase. Reducing the number of sites to put it and so its accumulation will contaminate rivers, seas and soils.
This situation eventually will bring to extinction some species of animals and plants.
